We collect information that is necessary to deliver the AwaSkool school management service:
- Student Information: Name, admission number, class, grades, attendance logs, and report sheet details.
- Guardian/Parent Information: Name, email address, phone number, passcode, and association with registered students.
- Staff/Teacher Information: Name, email, phone number, school roles, schedule details, and hashed login passwords.
- Financial Information: Billing records, school fees invoices, payment transaction references, and payment proof documents.
- CBT Assessment Data: Computer-based test responses, scores, exam start and end times, and optional device system logs used for anti-cheat verification.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To orchestrate school administrative workflows (grading, attendance, scheduling).
- To secure student computer-based examinations.
- To enable parents to view report sheets, pay bills, and communicate with the school.
- To send transactional emails, passcode recoveries, and account verification messages.
3. Data Security and Protection
AwaSkool uses industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) to protect data in transit. We implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure that student records, grades, and financials are only accessible by authorized users (e.g. school administrators and corresponding guardians). All user passwords are encrypted using strong hashing algorithms before storage.
4. Data Deletion and Retention Rights
Users retain full rights to request the deletion of their accounts and associated personal data.
If you wish to request the deletion of your account and associated datasets, you can do so directly via our web portal without having the mobile application installed:
